Atty. Kevin O. Prasad

Atty. Kevin O. Prasad is a Founding Partner of Kalaw Prasad & Hofileña (KPH Law). His practice is focused on labor, arbitration, criminal and civil litigation, data privacy and advice on regulatory matters.

He has represented clients ranging from multinational corporations, Business Process Outsourcing companies (BPOs), food and beverage conglomerates, restaurants, an American multinational energy corporation, electric cooperatives, healthcare service providers, and various automobile brands. With regard to his labor practice, he has collaborated with counsel from law firms based overseas, providing advice to a US software company outsourcing services to the Philippines as well as a Japanese corporation involved in an acquisition of a domestic company.

Prior to founding KPH Law, he was an entrepreneur, having managed various fine dining establishments throughout the Metro. He was responsible for leading various departments including Human Resources, Marketing, and Business Development. His background in business and law gives him a unique perspective when advising clients both domestic and international, enabling him to provide pragmatic solutions from a client-centered perspective.

Currently, He is a lecturer at several law schools teaching Labor Law and Human Rights Law at the Philippine Law School, Constitutional Law at the Centro Escolar University School of Law and Jurisprudence, and Special Issues in International Law at the Manila Adventist College School of Law and Jurisprudence.

He is a Certified Data Privacy Officer and a member of the National Association of Data Privacy Officers of the Philippines (NADPOP-CDPO). He is also a member of the Committee for Committee for Education, Accreditation, and Development, Philippine International Center for Conflict Resolution (PICCR) and the Advocacy Community for Public Engagement, Philippine Institute of Arbitrators (PIArb).

He holds a Bachelor’s of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa (with distinction) and a Juris Doctor from the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law (Second Honors).
